A Dozen More Apply for UH Football Coach Job

The University of Hawaii says its applicant pool is now up to 42 for the school’s head football coach position.

UH had said Monday — exactly one week after Greg McMackin’s announced retirement — that it had received 30 applications.

Applicants vying for the job — which paid McMackin a $1.1 million base salary — reportedly include UH associate head coach Rich Miano, Utah offensive coordinator Norm Chow, and the offensive coordinator for the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars, according to the Star-Advertiser.
